Then click on the Regus Logo
Now you will be on the homepage of the Regus Mapping Tool. The coloured boxes at the top of the page will display information regarding the mapping tool.
The green box will display when the tool has last been synced. This tool syncs with MEC and a Regus API.
The blue box displays how many venues have been mapped.
The orange box displays how many venues are left to map.
The red box shows many venues that have already been mapped but have issues.
Health Check
The first tab shows venues in various categories which need to be checked within MEC. The tool will have synced with the Regus API and these are any differences that we have between the two systems.
Inactive Centres with existing Tvd Mapping
The venues listed within this category are venues that Regus are now telling us are inactive or closed Regus venues. This venue listing will then need to be updated within MEC. The next step is open up MEC and find the venue listing so that you are able to edit the listing within MEC and retire if necessary.
You will also need to check on the Regus website and google to check if the centre is still active and open. If the venue is closed then retire the venue.
You will also need to remove the mapping from any venues listed in this section. To do on the Regus Mapping dashboard please click on the Mapped tab.
Next you will need to search for the venue name in the search box.
Once you find the required venue you will need to click on Remove Match.
Retired TVD Venues mapped to Active Centres
These are venues that we have retired in MEC but Regus are telling us are still active venues. These venues will need to be investigated further to check if they should be retired within MEC.
Once investigated you will need to decide whether the venue needs to be made active again, if so you will need to make the venue active in the system.
Matched Venues with Postcodes Mismatch
Any venues that appear in this section will need to have their postcodes checked as Regus have a different postcode for the venue then we have in MEC. Once investigated using google and the Regus website and the Regus postcode is correct then this will need to be updated in MEC.
If the postcode needs to be updated, then you will need to update the postcode in MEC. Once updated if you refresh the regus mapping page, this venue should disappear from the venues on the list and the mapped venues with issues thumbnail will update also.
If the postcode on TVD is correct keep the postcode the same and do not update.
The venue above has the correct postcode in TVD as per the Regus website and google then there is no need to update on the system.
Mapped Venues
The mapped venue tab shows all venues that have been successfully mapped using the Regus mapping tool. If you want to search for a venue to check if it has been mapped you can do this by using the Filter field and typing in the venue name.
This will display the results of your search.
If you wish to unmap any of the venues this can be done by clicking on Remove Match.
New Venues
The last tab in the mapping tool is New Venues. On this tab you will be able to see a list of Regus venues waiting to be mapped.
The list will display the Regus venue to be mapped showing the venue’s full address and then all possible matches with venues already on MEC. These venues will be a partial match using either a postcode, name or address match.
If you are happy that the venue is a correct match for the Regus venue then it will need to be matched. To match the venue you will need to click on the match button on the far right hand side.
Once the venue has been successfully mapped it will appear like this.
The page will then need to be refreshed and the venue will remove itself from this list and the number of unmapped venues will reduce.
Regus have a different business arrangement with venuedirectory.com where they pay commission on bookings rather than an annual subscription fee.
If you have to add/ amend/reactivate a Regus venue for any reason please ensure the following:
1) The venue should be a full listing. The subscription cost should be £0.00 with the dates going out a year. Please note you will not have a subscription form.
2) The sales contact and Subscription contact is Graham Bintcliffe
3) The private notes should read "REGUS UPGRADE FREE OF CHARGE AS PER COMMISSION AGREEMENT"
4) The venue should be put in the "Regus UK & MWB Business Exchange" Ownership
5) You should try and upload as many images as possible but at the very least 2, 1 external and 1 meeting space.
6) Facilities and Rooms should also be completed
