This document will guide you through processing the Invalid Co-ordinates data from the TVD quality Report

  • To update Invalid Co-ordinates you will need to click on the task for this report.  This report shows any venues on the system that have invalid co-ordinates for that venue. 



  • Details of the task will now appear on the screen and this will explain further about this task. In the venue description, there should be a link to a Google Sheet which will show the venue listings that need to be updated. 



  • Once the sheet has opened it will show all of the venues that have invalid co-ordinates with some basic venue details.  The co-ordinates will then need to be updated for each of these venues.



  • To update the venue's invalid co-ordinates the venue's profile will need to be updated in MyEventsChannel. 



  • The venue's co-ordinates can be updated by going on the General Information Tab. 



  • Once on the General Information tab, you will need to click on the Location tab to access the venue's location details.



  •  Once on the Location tab, you will need to update the venue's co-ordinates by making sure that the venue is pinned in the correct place on the venue's map.  It is also a good idea to double check that the venue's address is correct on the listing also.  This can be done by entering the venue name into the Location Finder field. 



  • This will then open up the location wizard and you will need to follow the steps of the wizard, and fill in any required fields. 



  • The most important step on the wizard is make sure that the venue is pinned correctly on the map. You may need to zoom in on the map to ensure the pin is the correct location. 



  • Once you have completed the location wizard the venue should now be pinned in the correct location and the invalid co-ordinates update. 


  • If you are unable to use the location wizard to update the venue's address and pin the venue's location on the map, then this will have to be done manually using the venue map on the right hand side and re-pinning the venue's pin on the map.  You may also need to use google maps as a reference to help you pin the venue. 


  • Once all these steps have been completed the missing information will now be updated on MyEventsChannel.
