This document will guide you through processing the Invalid Postcodes from the TVD quality Report

- To update Invalid County or Country you will need to click on the task for this report. This report shows any venues on the system that have been flagged as having Invalid counties or countries.
- Details of the task will now appear on the screen and this will explain further about this task. In the venue description, there should be a link to a Google Sheet which will show the venue listings that need to be updated.
- Once the sheet has opened it will show all of the venues that have flagged up as having an invalid county or country with some basic venue details. The invalid county/country will need to be updated.
- To update the venue's invalid county or country, the first step is to find the venue listing in MyEventsChannel.
- To update a venue's county or country this will need to be updated on the General Information tab.
- The Location tab will then need to be selected to be able to update the venue's address details including countyor country.
- The county or country can then be updated within this section of the venue profile. Before updating the county or country , the venue's county or country will need to checked using Google or the venue's website to ensure the venue's county or country is correct.
- To update the county or country you will need to start typing the county or country's name and then select the correct choice from the listed choices.
- If the correct town and county is selected then this should automatically update the venue's country, however if the country needs to be updated you will need to start typing the correct country's name and select from the drop down menu.
- Always remember to press save!
- Once both of these have been updated then this should correct the venue's data on the system.
- For some venues on this list the venue may be on the border of two counties or countries so you will need to use Google to ensure that the correct county or country is used.
- If for any reason we don't have the county or country on the system then this will be added onto the system using Endeavour.
- If the both the county and country are already listed on the system and appear correctly then these will need to be looked at further in Endeavour.
- Endeavour can be accessed via MyEventsChannel by clicking on Admin on the section at the top of the page.
Once you have clicked on Admin, you will need to click on Endeavour from the menu that has appeared.
- This will then open Endeavour. Endeavour is the admin portal which we use. Once on the Endeavour homepage you will need to select Locations & Destinations from the left hand side menu.
- Next you will need to select Add or Edit Location. This will take you to the section in Endeavour where we are able to add new towns or counties and edit existing ones in the system.
