This document contains some troubleshooting tips for Instant book. Before you start troubleshooting any issues please check that the venue has a live subscription
1. Images not displaying on the Instant Book widget page even when images have been loaded into the MEC venue profile. To resolve this:
- Load the venue listing in MEC and go to the Admin Only section
- Under Availability and collections ensure that the Alias Room Name is set to Yes - this should solve the issue
2. Instant book is switched on in Endeavour but it's not accessible within the listing on MEC
- Load the venue listing in MEC and go to the Admin Only section
- Under Availability and collections ensure that 'Show on Instant Book' and 'Widget Enabled' are both set to 'Yes'
3. Where to add terms and conditions, how to add and delete rates, cannot edit bank details area.-

4. Instant Book -Enquires processing and payment.
- Fiona will be processing all the Instant Book enquires in the system.
- If a venue calls in to know the status of the enquiry. Get the booking reference number and speak to Nicky from accounts team to find out the status of the payment.
- If Nicky says she does not know the details for that booking or she cannot find the booking reference in her system then speak to Fiona as she will have access to all the bookings and give you required information
5. For all the Best western venues please follow the normal process of turning just the show on Instant Book area on or off as and when required. With venues that have a live subscription please be mindful to not turn anything off even if they come out of the group.
6 Turn off the Instant Book - Decline subscription
When a venue declines its renewal or subscription for Instant Book please follow the process of turning off the Instant Book in MEC. Go to admin-only area and turn off both the tabs to off. Show on Instant Book and Widget enabled and click save.
7. We also sometimes receive bookings under the reference names VDC, BWV these will be dealt with by Fiona. She will know how to process these. If there is any query for these enquires please contact Fiona.
