CMS Process


This document will give you an overview of the CMS system, which is used to maintain the front end of the website.

                                     Username and Password are available from Zac or Mercedesz 




  • Once you’ve logged into the Umbraco website, click on the Content tab in the top left corner. This is where you can work on either the Home or Blogs section.





To upload new background venues images received from Marketing follow this process



  • Click on Home on the left panel
  • Now on the right hand side scroll down until you get to the image carousel 



  • Hover over slide one and you will get the dustbin icon - click it to delete the slide. Repeat this for all three slides



  • Now click Add content and upload and name the image then click the slider to on 


  • Finally click Save and Publish.




Never touch any section that has the word Meta next to it as this will affect the SEO side of things!







Blogs


  • Under the Home section, you will find the Blogs tab. 

  • Click on the drop-down arrow and click on Blog. This will open the page where you will find the existing blogs. 

  • To create a new blog, click on the Create tab. This will give you two options - click on Articulate Rich Text.

  • This is where you will add the name of the blog and the content.




YouTube Videos


  • Zac and Mercedesz have access to the YouTube channel.

  • We never delete any videos if the venue doesn't want it showing on TVD going forward. We just need to unpublish this on YouTube in case they want to use it again in the future. 

  • Using a video editor, we need to remove any references to other websites from the end of the video.
