This help document will explain how to add new venues into the Y Government Estate portfolio.
Adding a Venue to Y Government Estate. These are Government properties that Calders use to book Government meetings.
1. The venue should be in the brand Y - Government Estates under 'other brands and affiliations'.
2. Build as a skinny full
- General information page - Add a short and full description, website link, overall style to venues.
- If the sheet mentions disabled facilities and accessibility tick yes to Disabled access on the 'general information page of the venue.
- Ensure meeting rooms and capacities are added.
- Add equipment and facilities if you can find any for the venue.
- Add images
3. Add the Government logo
4. Upgrade venue to full if not already. You can do this on the subscriptions page.
5. Ensure all users are added to the venue from the sheet.
6. Make venue private to Calders and unpublish venue from the admin only section.
7. In the admin notes ensure you put the name of the spreadsheet you were given and the date so your colleagues can see when and why it was added to Y Gov.
