What’s the process with proofs
We don’t provide proofs but if someone requests on we can ‘create’ a mock up of this using the ‘Proof Templates’ PowerPoint document and ‘snipping’ it once done.
Freebies
These don’t get give to venues for free but there are a few venues that we have informal arrangements with. The agreement with this is that if we have their high resolution images, and have a cancellation or free available space, we can feature them not cost. Theses venues are as follows - I don’t believe we have their high resolution imagery – if we do it will be in the Landing Page Order folder.
‘RESERVES’
We do not ‘reserve’ these without a signed confirmation form unless it is agreed with the Managing Director
Uploading them
First step: All images must be re-sized so that they are approx. 1MB in size. This is big enough so that they aren’t blurry on screens but not so big that they are slow to load of affect the speed of GRATIS login page etc.
All logos should be in a square format for aesthetic reasons.
• These are uploaded using the ‘venue management’ section of your CRM.
• You will see a ‘Featured Venue’ section
• Clicking on this you will see a table, the small icons at the top that say ‘TVD’ , ‘GRATIS’ and ‘Xmas’ – if you click on these it will ONLY show you landing pages loaded for these platforms.
• If you click ‘Add a featured venue’ button it will bring up a pop up.
• From top to bottom complete these to upload a landing page. Ensure you tick the right platform (for this it is ‘GRATIS’).
• The logo addition is applicable with this product.
• DEFAULT TEXT:
o Header text: Venue Name
o Body Text: the venues maximum capacity according to their listings. This is displayed as ‘Event capacity:[NUMBER]’
o URL: Link to their venuedirectory.com listing
• NOTE: if you don’t add any information in the Header Text, Body text, the black overlay text box will not appear on the live advert.
• NOTE: Links to external websites / URL’s are considered on a request basis – we do not offer it but if someone asks – speak to Michael about whether we can allow it. As standard we don’t but as we have had a few orders when we have allowed it, its possible that future bookings may have seen the product link to external links and therefore want the same with their booking.
LANDING PAGES/FEATURE VENUES: CHRISTMAS PARTY VENUES
Where can these be found/where do they appear
These appear on the front end of the Christmas website (Christmas.venuedirectory.com) on a rotating basis.
Where is the booking sheet/order sheet for this found?
Previous years booking sheets (which you can use for future bookings) can be found in:
Shared Drive>Marketing>Landing Page Orders>Xmas
Note: These landing page bookings do not have a hyperlink.
There was once a ticket in to IT to facilitate this but at the moment they do not which is why they are only £99 +VAT for a whole month – once they can hyperlink, the price is likely to go up or the duration go down.

CHRISTMAS PARTY VENUE ADVERTS – NOT THE SAME THING.
You will notice on the home page of the Christmas Party Venues website that there are 3 advert banners, 1 at the top that constantly appears on every page, 1 at the bottom that constantly appears and 1 on the front page on the right hand side that only appears on the front page.
These are not sold (We never sold any) so instead are offered to groups as a ‘sweetner’ / part of a contra deal.
The Groups Renewal manager would liaise with groups about this alongside the Managing Director. If you have any questions or concerns, speak to one of them.

REB vs Sales
These are priced at £210 + VAT for a week feature (on rotation with other venues)
Independent venues have a ‘marketing incentive’ for returning their renewal form to us early. This is known as the ‘Renewal Early Bird’ or ‘REB’. These are FOC.
Renewals who don’t return the form by this deadline are eligible for receiving this product at half the price (£105 + VAT) but any of these will be on a dedicated marketing subscription/confirmation form for Landing Page and will be input onto the New Venues and Renewal Marketing spreadsheet so should be processed as a normal marketing order.

• NOTE: if you don’t add any information in the Header Text, Body text and URL, it will automatically pull the venue name as the header text, information from the venue’s ‘Short description’ for the body text and the URL will automatically create and go to the venue’s overview page.
