This document details how to access data analytics already available to all Venue Directory staff and how to request additional insights.

I ask that you read this document in its entirety to ensure that you understand the change in process.

Sigma

Over the coming days you will receive access to Sigma Reporting, this will appear as a tile in Okta. Training will be provided in due course.

Here, you will be able to access reports as follows:

  • Destination One Pager
  • Venue One Pager
  • Group Performance Report

Reports.venuedirectory.com

Please utilise this area to pull GRATIS Reports, Summary reports and Venue Lists.

Endeavour Reporting

Within Endeavour you have access to review stats and graphs by the following types.

These can be filtered by Arrival Date and Enquiry Date, with additional filtering allowing you to select by GRATIS Client.

Country Stats

Destination Stats

Venue Stats

Instant Bookings

Qlik Dashboard Report

For the time being, please continue to request these via the data requests channel.
 Allow a minimum of 48 hours for responses.

Ensure you detail, Date ranges, Date Parameters, Group and Destination Data as per the usual process and submit via the #vd-data-requests in slack.

There is a plan to create this dashboard in Sigma/Endeavour

Promoted Listing Stats 

You can export a list of events directly from the Subscription. 

Navigate to the Promotion Tab on the subscription, select the promotion and then download.

Request Changes/Updates to Existing Reports/Data 

Some data requests will be supplied by our team. If you are unsure, please ask. Allow a minimum of 5 working days for your requests. 

Submit a ticket via Jira or through the relevant slack channel.

Subject:  Venue Directory stats 

Detail what is required: 

Summarise what you want to achieve: e.g. Average response time for venues in Aberdeen with an Enhanced Listing or Lead Time for Venues with awarded bookings in Paris in 2024
 Excel List of Venues in Leeds with 10+ Conference Capacity with 1 enquiry or more

Data Parameters:  Please consider what you require and ensure that you include all the information necessary your request. 

Date Parameters: Arrival Date, Confirmed Date, Created Date (enquiry date)
Date Range: What date range you want the data for. Full year, by month, by Quarter
Grouping: If required - Whether it is a Venue Group, a Parent Venue Group or an Ownership.
Values: Confirmed Values / Enquiry Values – M&E or Accommodation, All, combined or separated.
Other: Be as specific as possible. Eg: Venue Type, Listing Type, Star Rating. Response Times 

How do you want the data displayed: e.g. Stats, A Chart, an Excel List etc.
