This help document will show you how to create a widget for the Instant Book product.
Checking the subscription & Enabling Instant Book
Firstly check the subscription form you have received against the subscription on Endeavour and ensure that the new sale is for Instant Book and the dates for which the subscription is for and ensure that this is a new sale and not a renewal. If it is a new sale you can then go to create the widget.
Then go to the venue on www.myeventschannel.com and select the "Admin Only" tab and then the "Availability & Collections" tab.
Ensure that the venue has option "Show on Instant Book" enabled as"Yes" and "Widget enabled as "Yes.". If the venue already has the widget created the widget key will show in the "Venue Widget" box. This may be because the venue has previously had the widget created for them on a previous subscription and therefore no new widget will need to be created. When turning on the options for "Show On Instant Book" and "Widget Enabled"., this will enable both the calendar and the widget to be turned on for the venue.
If the "Venue Widget" box is blank this means a widget has not been created for the venue and a new widget must be created.
How to Create the Widget

This will take you to the widget creation page on Endeavour.
Firstly go to the search box and search for the venue name to ensure that no widgets already exist for this venue.
If no widgets exist, then you can go on to create a new widget by clicking on the "New Widget" button.
This will take you to the widget creation page.
To create a single venue widget please ensure that option for "Group Widget" is then set to "No".
Then enter the venue name. Any venues that match the venue name will be highlighted, Please ensure you select the correct venue name from the list presented:
Ensure that the following options are set to "Yes"
- Enable Potential Booking E-mails
- Enable Pay by Invoice
- Enable On Hold
- Active
Ensure the following options are set to "No".
- Display Zero Price As Complimentary
- Booking Only
Once you have ensured these options are selected, then select the "Save" Button.
The widget will now be created and you can now share the widget details with the customer. You can find this information by going back to the main widget creation page and searching for the venue name.
Once you found the venue the system will return a screen like this:
You can then share the widget key with the venue so that their IT team can add it to their website.
You can also share the link to the venue's dedicated small meetings website by clicking the eye icon which will take you to their small meetings website.
