I am delighted to update you that we have modified the reminder process for meeting and event RFP’s sent through our channels. From now on you will receive a reminder 15 mins prior to the deadline for the response set by the sender. Sometimes people need a response quickly and there may only be an hour to respond to the enquiry so you will get a reminder 45 mins after it has been sent, sometimes it can be set to 4 hrs and therefore a reminder will be sent you after 3 Hrs 45 mins. The response required time is a bespoke setting per enquiry and can vary from one client to another and from one user to another within that client.
Previously we would send you a reminder 15 mins prior to the deadline, 15 mins after the deadline if the enquiry was still open with the sender and then finally 24hrs after the deadline again only if the enquiry was still open. It's great to see so many people replying straight away to the enquiries through our channels and so the need for these additional reminders being no longer required. These changes have been made as a result of feedback from our clients like yourself and as you know I am always happy to take on board any feedback you have that allows us to improve the service we provide to you.
